Little Monkeys Preschool Program
2 ½ to 4 years
A good preschool can make a difference in a child's future school years. We offer individual programs for children to help them learn in an environment that is stress free and fun. Some learning centers our preschoolers explore are music, science, math, language arts and manipulative play.
Our Preschool Program ensures that your child’s mind is engaged and helps create a life-long love of learning and exploration. Your child is introduced to new experiences which develop independence, self-esteem and self-confidence. Preschoolers begin to form stronger friendship groups and our educators help them learn how to play cooperatively and belong to a community.
Our preschool curriculum includes:
- Language and Literacy: Developing early reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills through stories, songs, and interactive activities.
- Mathematics: Building number sense, pattern recognition, sorting, and basic problem-solving using hands-on materials.
- Science and Sensory: Exploring the natural world, conducting simple experiments, and engaging with STEM concepts through age-appropriate activities.
- Problem-Solving: Exploring new environments, experimenting with cause and effect, and trying out solutions during play.
- Listening and Following Directions: Responding to simple instructions and participating in group activities.
Classroom ratio:
10:1 ratio with 17 preschoolers maximum and 2 teachers (however, generally there is approximately a 6:1 ratio with an additional teacher present.)
