Mighty Lions Pre-Kindergarten Program
3 ½ to 5 years
School is just around the corner, and our pre-kindergarten program is thoughtfully designed to prepare your child for a confident start in kindergarten. Our curriculum focuses on essential academic skills such as reading, writing, and math readiness, while also incorporating hands-on STEM activities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Through a balance of child-directed and teacher-initiated activities, children are encouraged to express their individuality, develop problem-solving skills, and appreciate the unique qualities of their peers.
Blending academics with opportunities for socialization and play, our full-day program prepares children for a successful transition to elementary school, laying the foundation for both long-term academic achievement and meaningful life-long friendships
Our pre-kindergarten curriculum includes:
- Language and Literacy: Activities that build reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
- Mathematics: Early math concepts such as counting, number recognition, and problem-solving.
- Science and Technology: Hands-on STEM activities exploring the world through experiments and technology.
- Social Studies: Lessons about community, diversity, and understanding the world around us.
- Socialization and Play: Opportunities for children to interact, cooperate, and develop friendships.
- Individual Expression: Projects and activities that encourage creativity and self-confidence.
Classroom ratio:
10:1 ratio with 20 children maximum and 2 teachers (however, generally there is approximately a 7:1 ratio with an additional teacher present.)
